Well, the day I have been dreading is here. I am 50 years old. And that is pretty old. There really is no way around it. Still, I can't feel very sorry for my self for very long. I have a pretty great life all in all. I have a wonderful family. I love my husband and my kids. I have three teenagers that I don't just love because they are my kids. I really LIKE them. They are really cool people. Alex is my rock and has been for over 21 years. My mom, my brother and sister are great people. My sister-in-law is one of my favorite people in the world. I am one of the lucky people who thinks my mother-in-law is wonderful. So, I am 50. It could be lots worse!
I read this idea online about taking a picture every day for 365 days. I thought it would be pretty cool to start on my 50th birthday and take pictures every day for a year. The point is not to just take pictures of the big things but of all the little but special things that make up our lives. Here is my picture of the day. Mary Kate calls me Madame Zeroni. I don't know why. I've asked. It doesn't matter, she just likes to call me that. This was on the fridge door this morning when I got up. She had made this sign when she got home from work at Whitey's late last night. What a nice way to start my birthday.
