Today Benjamin and I worked in the yard. It's really the first day this spring that I've spent any time out there and it needed some serious attention. I am not a gardener. I don't have a green thumb. I have no real desire to be a serious gardener, if the truth be told. However, I really do like flowers and even though I get tired of taking care of them, I enjoy having them all around the house. We spent the afternoon planting and it really does look pretty when it's done. I just love when they start spreading out. It makes me feel that summer is nearly here!
