Poor Alex. He's been working these crazy 12-hour shifts with the outtage at work. They are working on the I-80 bridge so he has to make these detours that add on to his commute. For the past seven days, he has struggled with this stupid kidney stone. (The good news - he thinks he may have passed it today!) Anyway, he was headed up to bed tonight at 8 p.m when it starts to thunder and rain hard. He goes to the garage and gets out the step ladder to clean the gutter on the front of the house. What a guy! Who else would be so responsible when so tired?
